It's possible to trade profitably on the Forex, the nearly $2 trillion worldwide currency exchange market. But the odds are against you, even more so if you don't prepare and plan your trades. According to a 2014 Bloomberg report, several analyses of retail Forex trading, including one by the National Futures Association (NFA), the industry's regulatory body, concluded that more than two out of three Forex traders lose money. This suggests that self-education and caution are recommended. Here are some approaches that may improve your odds of taking a profit. Prepare Before You Begin Trading Because the Forex market is highly leveraged -- as much as 50 to 1 -- it can have the same appeal as buying a lottery ticket: some small chance of making a killing. This, however, isn't trading; it's gambling, with the odds long against you. A better way of entering the Forex market is to carefully prepare. Beginning with a practice account is helpful and risk-free. While you're trading in your practice account, read the most frequently recommended Forex trading books, among them Currency Forecasting: A Guide to Fundamental and Technical Models of Exchange Rate Determination, by Michael R. Rosenberg is short, not too sweet and highly admired introduction to the Forex market. Forex Strategies: Best Forex Strategies for High Profits and Reduced Risk, by Matthew Maybury is an excellent introduction to Forex trading. The Little Book of Currency Trading: How to Make Big Profits in the World of Forex, by Kathy Lien is another concise introduction that has stood the test of time. All three are available on Amazon. Rosenberg's book, unfortunately, is pricey, but it's widely available in public libraries. "Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline and a Winning Attitude," by Mark Douglas is another good book that's available on Amazon, and, again, somewhat pricey, although the Kindle edition is not. Use the information gained from your reading to plan your trades before plunging in. The more you change your plan, the more you end up in trouble and the less likely that elusive forex profit will end up in your pocket. Diversify and Limit Your Risks Two strategies that belong in every trader's arsenal are: Diversification: Traders who execute many small traders, particularly in different markets where the correlation between markets is low, have a better chance of making a profit. Putting all your money in one big trade is always a bad idea. Familiarize yourself with ways guaranteeing a profit on an already profitable order, such as a trailing stop, and of limiting losses using stop and limit orders. These strategies and more are covered in the recommended books. Novice traders often make the mistake of concentrating on how to win; it's even more important to understand how to limit your losses. Be Patient Forex traders, particularly beginners, are prone to getting nervous if a trade does not go their way immediately, or if the trade goes into a little profit they get itchy to pull the plug and walk away with a small profit that could have been a significant profit with little downside risk using appropriate risk reduction strategies. In "On Any Given Sunday," Al Pacino reminds us that "football is a game of inches." That's a winning attitude in the Forex market as well. Remember that you are going to win some trades and lose others. Take satisfaction in the accumulation of a few more wins than losses. Over time, that could make you rich!

CELEBRãTE GRILLING SEãSON WITH THESE ãDORãBLE GRILL CUPCãKES!

These Grill Cupcãkes ãre ã whimsicãl dessert to help you celebrãte ã summer bãrbecue pãrty!
Cupcãkes Ingredients:
  • 1 ¾ cups flour
  • 2 cups sugãr
  • 1 cup cocoã
  • 1 ½ tsp bãking sodã
  • 1 ½ tsp bãking powder
  • 1 tsp sãlt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetãble oil
  • 2 tsp vãnillã extrãct
  • 1 cup boiling wãter
  • Frosting Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugãr
  • 4 tbsp whipping creãm
  • 1 tsp vãnillã
  • red gel food colouring
  • orãnge gel food colouring
  • red ãnd orãnge cupcãke sprinkles
  • Gummy Beãr cãndy
  • Box of toothpicks
  • Royãl Icing Ingredients:
  • 4 egg whites
  • 4 C powder sugãr, sifted
  • 1 tsp lemon extrãct
  • Blãck gel food colouring


Cupcake Recipe:
  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line cupcake pan with cupcake liners. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
  3. In another large bowl, stir together eggs, milk, oil and vanilla extract. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients bowl and stir together.
  4. Beat on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes. Slowly add boiling water and continue to beat. The mixture will be a little runny.
  5. Fill the cupcake liners with the batter about ¾ way full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of a cupcake comes out clean.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Carefully transfer cupcakes to a wire baking rack to continue cool.

Frosting Recipe:
  1. -Beãt the softened butter on its own until smooth.
  2. -ãdd vãnillã extrãct.
  3. -ãdd powder sugãr with heãvy creãm  into the creãmed butter until it becomes ã smooth ãnd thick texture.
  4. -If the frosting is too thick, ãdd more heãvy creãm, if  the frosting is too thin, ãdd more powder sugãr.
  5. -Tãke ã spoonful of the frosting ãnd hold the spoon upside down…. if the frosting drops off the spoon ãdd more powdered sugãr …. if the frosting doesn’t fãll off the spoon then it is reãdy.
  6. -Put 1/2 of the  frosting into ã sepãrãte bowl… put severãl drops of orãnge gel food colouring  in thãt  bowl ãnd  stir well to blend the colour.
  7. -In the second bowl ãdd the hãlf of the frosting… ãdd severãl drops of red gel food colouring… Stir well to mix the colour.
  8. -Scoop the orãnge frosting into ã pãstry bãg with ã frosting tip. Scoop the red frosting into the sãme pãstry bãg.
  9. -Twist the open end of the pãstry bãg to push the orãnge/red frosting to the tip.  Using the filled pãstry bãg work the frosting in ã circle on the top of eãch cupcãke until they ãre fully frosted.
Royãl Icing Recipe:
  1. –Beãt egg whites in  ã lãrge bowl with mixer ãt high speed until foãmy.
  2. -Grãduãlly ãdd sugãr ãnd lemon extrãct ãnd beãt until thickened. 
  3. -ãdd blãck gel food colouring… stir to blend well.
Directions:

-Tãpe wãx pãper covering ã cookie sheet .
-Using ã smãll pãstry bãg filled with the blãck royãl icing ãnd ã #2 tip.
-Using royãl icing outline ã BBQ grill.
-Go over the outline of the grill with the blãck royãl icing to reinforce the icing grill.
-ãllow to dry for 5-10 hours. -Cut the wãx pãper holding the completed BBQ grill into squãres surrounding the imãge.
-Ensure the grills ãre dry, gently touch one of the imãges.
-If the imãges ãre dry peel them off the wãx pãper ãnd plãce on the frosted cupcãke.

Shish Kãbobs:

-We used gummy beãr cãndy, cut off the body side of the cãndy leãving  ã plãin squãre of ã gummy cãndy.
-Cut those pieces in hãlf.
-Slide eãch smãll squãre piece of gummy cãndy onto ã toothpick. If the toothpick is too big for the royãl icing grill, cut off the ends.
-Plãce the kãbobs on the grill.
